Information you provide
Account information includes your name, email, role and account settings. Passwords are stored as hashes. We also store website content, images, products, links and contact information that you choose to publish.
Depending on your use, we also process order and delivery details, payment references and receipts, support messages and attachments, advertising and collaboration inquiries, and appointment information or uploaded records. Contact details submitted in an inquiry are not automatically published.
How information is used
Information is used to manage accounts and access, publish websites, process orders and appointments, deliver inquiries to their intended recipient, provide support and operate enabled features. Operational and security records help diagnose errors, prevent abuse and review important changes.
Instagram connections
Instagram features use official Meta APIs and the access granted for the connected account. We store the account ID and username, permissions, connection status and an encrypted access token to operate the connection. MaxoLink does not ask for your Instagram password for this connection.
Insights can retrieve and cache aggregate figures such as follower and post counts, reach, views and interactions. Only selected metrics are shown on the public website when publication is enabled.
When automation is enabled, message and comment data is processed to identify events and select replies; its text is not stored as a full conversation transcript. Delivery records include identifiers, timestamps, media IDs, encrypted recipient or comment IDs and processing results. Reply settings and one-way identifiers used to prevent duplicate replies are also retained.
Who can access information?
Content you publish, including your public website profile, products, links or enabled statistics, is visible to visitors. Private order and inquiry information is available to the relevant website owner and staff permitted to access that feature. Platform administrator access follows the access controls for each feature.
Customer support conversations with an individual website become available to platform support after explicit escalation. A guest request’s private tracking link grants access to that conversation; do not share it with others.
Infrastructure and other services
Website infrastructure providers and connected services, such as Meta, process information needed to provide their respective functions. When you open an external link or complete a payment with another service, that provider’s policies and terms also apply. Each website owner may provide additional information about their independent use of data.
Do not submit banking passwords, login codes, CVVs or customers’ complete payment-card details in manual payment or support forms. Do not include connection tokens or passwords in support messages or screenshots.
Retention and protection
MaxoLink uses access controls, session protections, password hashing, encrypted connection tokens and server-side checks. No system can guarantee absolute security. Retention depends on the type of information, the state of an order or request, relevant settings, and operational, security or applicable recordkeeping needs.
Some data is periodically cleaned up, including creator analytics events and finished Instagram reply-delivery records. This does not cover all account data: duplicate-prevention identifiers, necessary records and backups are handled separately. Removal from the active service does not mean immediate removal from every backup.
Your choices and requests
You can change editable account and website information in your dashboard, turn off publication of statistics, or disconnect an integration. Disconnecting is not the same as deleting all previously stored data. Use the support center and data-deletion instructions for privacy questions, corrections unavailable in your dashboard, or deletion requests.
